Meet Duncan...

A Chartered Management Accountant with 34 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Duncan elected to retire from the role as Chief Financial Officer at Wood Group PSN in April 2013 to concentrate his activities on Social Enterprise and Charity work.

Duncan co-led one of the largest Management Buy-outs in Scotland, when in 2005 he engineered the $300m start-up of PSN which was to become the 5th largest private company in Scotland prior to its sale for around $1bn to Wood Group in April 2011.

Duncan currently chairs Glencraft, an Aberdeen based Social Enterprise and is also Chair of Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust and a non-executive director of Aberdeen Football Club. He was recently appointed to the board of SportScotland and is also a trustee on the RGU Foundation and works with several other local and national charities.

Duncan is chair at Social Stuff – a “profit for purpose” Social Enterprise which he has funded through his own charitable trust with a view to creating a sustainable source of charitable giving.
In 2016 Duncan was admitted as a Burgess of the Guild of the City of Aberdeen.

While a keen follower of all sports Duncan likes to golf, hike in the mountains, travel and fish – while not watching his favourite football club!
