Ami Singh has spent over 17 years in the energy industry, both here in the UK and New Zealand.
Ami is a chartered engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a Professional Registration Advisor (PRA) and a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity in the workplace. He sits on the IET Council, AFBE Leadership Board in Scotland, and Student Council for Wrexham Glyndwr university in Wales, where he is also a BAME officer. |
Ami started his career as an Electrical Engineer, transitioning to Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and now as Head of Operations.
With the AYP, Ami intends to help others who are in early stages of their professional careers or professional registration. He has mentored over 20 engineers in his career to date.
Ami is a passionate cricket supporter and likes to spend time with his young family.
Ami’s motto in life is to “never give up learning” – as he considers himself as a life long learner.
