Meet Duncan...
Duncan has almost 25 years professional experience in the energy industry working for a range of contractor and operating companies including Wood, Shell, Dubai Petroleum, Apache and CNOOC.
He has spent the majority of his career working in contracts and Supply Chain Management roles, but also has experience working in commercial and business operation roles and feels he could offer guidance to a mentee in a range of areas, Duncan's current role is Business Services Manager supporting the Scott, Telford and Rochelle assets for CNOOC. |
With a BA (Hons.) in Law and Management and a LLM in Oil & Gas Law, Duncan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Originally from Northumberland, he moved to Aberdeen for University. Other than a period spent in the Middle East, Duncan has lived and worked in Aberdeen ever since.
Outside of work, Duncan enjoys sport (watching rather than playing these days), spending time with his friends and family and travelling.
Duncan has enjoyed his previous mentoring experience both internally with previous employers and as part of the OGTC Mentoring with Energy Scheme. Duncan is keen to work with any mentees looking to either develop within their existing role or seeking to progress their career.
