Meet Kenneth...

Kenneth is a dad , enjoys  a laugh and would be  honoured to be  involved in the mentoring and supporting of others beginning their journey.
In his early career, he was fortunate to benefit from working closely with others who had the experience and knowledge to mentor him.
“Focus on what you’re good at, listen to those who are good at something else and then aim to employ them”
Having spent his younger years just working for cash it became apparent that this wasn’t going to be a long-term objective.

Having a mechanical background and having gained some experience in sales and customer management he was fortunate in being given an opportunity to help open and grow a business in 1995 he took the lead and jumped in, building a team, making numerous mistakes but ultimately building a good sustainable business.  This business focused on the supply of Specialist pumps and heating ventilation.

From this he took the initiative and over the next 20 years held senior positions as Operations Director for a multi -national rental company, overseeing 150 staff through UK, Europe and Asia.

Being a shareholder and directly involved in the sale of this business in 2007 and supporting the new owners in the integration into the overall corporation. Learning the benefits of due diligence and listening. Taking a keen interest in people and development of individuals and seeing this as the key to success.

Dealing with all aspects of business from direct sales to operational efficiencies, growth strategies and people development, targeted investment and realigning of sales teams to meet market demands. All businesses have provided services to multi markets which gives a broader view of expectations, requirements than single specialist markets.

Latterly Kenneth was involved in the restructure and sale of a specialist oil service provider in Aberdeen in 2015 where he remains a shareholder and investor.

Currently General Manager at Adler and Allan, Kenneth is managing and supporting the teams in delivering and continued growth of the business, romoting all services within Scotland to existing and new clients across all markets.  Consulting with clients to offer tailored support solutions to their environmental and asset integrity requirements ,utilising Adler and Allan’s comprehensive portfolio of services, products and expertise.

Who does Kenneth want to mentor

Anyone who wants to make budgets not spend them, those who wish to do a little bit more than they are asked. Those who enjoy people and understand the benefit of the team around them.  Happy to help anyone who feels that they just need an ear to listen and may offer a different direction and perspective for them to consider.
